The current Instagram design feels cluttered. The overuse of white and the visibility of multiple comments causes eye fatigue when scrolling images. Remote Technologies Incorporated makes automation systems for the home and businesses. Autonomic supplies the music portion of their system which controls lighting, shade, room temperature, etc. In contrast to the previous design, I implemented a user interface that is more clear, simple and understandable to the typical end user. The flow of navigation through the interface was also simplified to enhance the user experience.

Designed and developed the concept of selling emotions from beginning to end. The concept was implemented as the homepage of the site with a full redesign to come later. The updated design immediately created a buzz in the Home Automation industry. In turn, sales of the Autonomic Mirage Audio System rose sharply.

User Experience Design for the Mirage Music Player App by AUTONOMIC.
Mirage Music Player App by Autonomic is used for control of music in every room of the home. I designed this app from top to bottom performing stakeholder interviews, wireframes, usability testing, user flow analysis, and complete visual design deliverables for iOS and Andriod. The main screen shows player controls and meta data. There is also a room selection and a room overview screen. I created the design based on the dark theme of the Mirage brand and by fitting similar elements from the Autonomic website.

Website navigation was considered too complex and the shopping cart had too many steps. Redesigned the look and feel of the website, reorganized the navigation after analysis, and condensed shopping cart to a one page checkout.
The Beatles themed chocolate bar packaging with illustrated characters designed for Bloomsbury.com. It comes in two versions, Sgt. Peppers and A Hard Days Night. I created original character designs of The Beatles representing two of their best selling albums.

This Pillsbury Dough interactive advertisement uses temptation to motivate the user to interact with the advertisement. When touched the doughboy lets out his well know classic giggle while animating his motion. Then the product slides into view with a Call to Action for the user to click for details on the new product.

This magazine spread is reimagined from an actual Wired Magazine article found online. I used all original text from the 2011 Geneva Auto Show article. I wanted to build some contrast with stark colors and an artistic touch by adding chevron like tire-marks and slashes.

Dodge Data & Analytics (Formerly McGraw Hill) needed their website (construction.com) to be restructured and more user friendly. The homepage in place was very busy and confusing with too many choices and paths to go down. I cleared the clutter and made one central funnel to the 6 most important solutions they provide. User personas, visual site maps, and web metrics analysis such as google analytics, heat maps, and confetti maps were used to narrow down the important links to keep and which ones to discontinue.
